ENTRY FEE: $25 non-refundable pre-registration fee received w/application form by October 17, 2008 ensures receiving a T-shirt on ride day. Late and/or ride day registration is $30, T-shirts available by mail following the event. Entry fees to be donated to Stephens County Foundation for "Share the Road" signage & support of this route as a Georgia/South Carolina official route connecting to designated state routes.

GUARANTEE: Tour will take place rain or shine.

SIGN IN: 9 AM, Yonah Dam Park, Yonah Dam Road, Toccoa, Georgia

START TIME: 10AM

DISTANCE: Metric Century (62 miles), with three loop choices, 20.5-mile loop, 21-mile loop, and another 20.5 mile loop. A family fun ride for five miles on flat terrain starts at 10AM.

From Atlanta -1-85 North to 1-985 North which becomes Hwy 365 and Hwy 123. Follow signs to Toccoa, turn left at Jeanette Jamieson intersection (Hwy. 123). Proceed 10 miles to Riverdale Road at old BP store, turn left on Riverdale Road. (Riverdale changes to Old Church Road) proceed to dead end at Prather Bridge Rd., turn right. Proceed 6 miles to Yonah Dam Park.

Directions from Greenville. SC

From 1-85 South to exit 177 (2nd exit in GA) Turn left at end of exit ramp toward Toccoa. Proceed into town on Hwy 17, which becomes Big A Road. At the intersection of Big A and Currahee Street (Hwy 123), turn right. Proceed 5 miles to Riverdale Road at old BP store, turn left, (Riverdale changes to Old Church Road) proceed to dead end at Prather Bridge Road, turn right. Proceed 6 miles to Yonah Dam Park.

Directions from Seneca. SC

From Seneca travel west on Hwy. 123 to the Georgia State Line. Cross Lake Hartwell. Turn right on Riverdale Road at old BP store (1st right turn in GA). Proceed on Riverdale Road, (changes to Old Church Road) to the dead end at Prather Bridge Road, turn right Proceed 6 miles to Yonah Dam Park.                     '

Directions from Athens. GA

Highway 106 through Ila and Carnesville to Hwy. 17 in Toccoa. Turn right on Highway 17 proceed to dead end, turn left. Highway 17 becomes Big A Road. At the intersection of Big A Road and Currahee Street (Hwy 123). turn right. Proceed 5 miles to Riverdale Road at old BP store, turn left, (Riverdale changes to Old Church Road) proceed to dead end at Prather Bridge Road, turn right. Proceed 6 miles to Yonah Dam Park.

I understand the Tour de Tugaloo will be a strenuous event requiring special bicycle-handling skills. I understand the Tour de Tugaloo requires bicycle

helmets be worn by all participants while operating bicycles with NO EXCEPTION to this requirement. I am aware of the risks of bicycling and certify I am able to perform this event and am properly trained to participate in it. In consideration of being permitted to participate in this event, I waive any and all claims for myself, my heirs and personal representatives against and covenant not to sue the Stephens County Foundation, the County of Stephens and officials, sponsors and volunteers of the Tour de Tugaloo for injury or illness which may result directly or indirectly from my participation in this event- I agree to obey all traffic laws and practice bicycling safety during the event.
