The 1924-25 construction of Yonah Dam and Lake changed the northern end of the Corridor.

Yonah is a Cherokee word that means bear
Yonah is a Hebrew variant transliteration for Jonah.
Yonah was the name of one of the four steam locomotives involved in the Great Locomotive Chase during the American Civil War.
Yonah Mountain is a mountain in North Georgia.
Yonah is a code name for the next-generation processor in Intel's Pentium M line, after Banias and Dothan.
